Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information: email, name, payment method (processed by Stripe — we never see your full card number).
Link data: the destination URLs and short slugs you create.
Click data: aggregate counts, country/city (geo-IP), referrer, user agent class. We do NOT store the full IP address by default.
Usage data: which features you use, how many links you create.

2. How we use it

Provide the service (redirect, count clicks)
Bill you for what you used
Improve reliability and detect abuse

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your data.
We do not share it with advertisers.
We do not use your link content to train models.

4. Data retention

Account data: kept while active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
Click events: aggregated after 24 months; individual events purged.
Short links: kept while account is active. Deleting the account removes them after the 30-day grace.

5. Your rights

Access: download all your data anytime.
Delete: request full account deletion.
Export: standard formats (JSON, CSV).
Correct: update account info anytime.

6. GDPR (EU residents)

The Fair Company acts as a data controller. Our legal basis is contract performance. Email privacy@faircompany.ai to exercise your rights.

7. CCPA (California residents)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email privacy@faircompany.ai to exercise your rights.

8. Subprocessors

We use a small set of trusted subprocessors (Stripe for billing, Cloudflare for edge, Resend for email). Full list at /docs.

9. Children

FairLinks is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
